  A regional chamber of commerce with over 20,000 member companies, identified needs to help member companies improve process capabilities for Cultural Capacity to increase business opportunities, contain costs, and compete in the global business environment.
Action

Our online PACE Toolkit and support services were offered through the Chamber to all members. Member companies were able to quickly and cost effectively measure current process performance and utilize the custom summary report and action plans for improvement. The Chamber was able to recognize the performance of each member organization through the scoring and status scheme provided by dmStrategists and establish a regional performance benchmark for their business community. Learning events were then offered by the Chamber to foster business community advancements.
Results

dmStrategists' online Toolkits were offered to member organizations through the Channel Partners. Participating organizations improved their competitive position to win contracts, reduced operational costs, and developed leading edge processes to meet global business changes. Situation
  An OEM with a global supply chain was in need of establishing a supplier diversity initiative to respond to customer requirements for contract opportunities and establish a leadership position in its industry. The OEM also wanted to have a consistent method to track the diversity efforts of its Tier I suppliers and rate their performance.
Action

Our online PACE Toolkit was used to measure current process performance at the OEM and at each of the Tier I supplier organizations. Tier I suppliers reported their end score and performance status (gold, silver or bronze) with continuous improvement plans. A comprehensive on-site training curriculum was developed for the OEM and for use at the Tier I supplier organizations. dmStrateigsts' dmMetrics was used to monitor workplace diversity performance at each supplier and at the OEM.
Results

Using the online PACE assessment, dmMetrics and Supplier Diversity support services the OEM quickly and cost effectively implemented a standardized supplier diversity initiative across the entire supplier network of over 500 organizations, establish a common means of performance measurement and reporting, and provide recognition to suppliers that demonstrated targeted performance levels.
   
 
Situation
  A hospital system with over 7,000 employees and 43 facilities was working to add structure and improve its workplace diversity and cultural capabilities as well as align its diversity initiative with its Malcolm Baldrige performance architecture. Past ‘social imperative' training based efforts had failed lacking traction and business results. In addition, there was a lack of performance tracking and no demographic data to correlate internal to external comparative results.
Action

Additional needs to improve customer traffic from diverse communities had not been addressed which resulted in poor operational performance.

A diversity advisory council was formed to support the existing diversity leader.
